BACK TO SCHOOL - HOT TOPICS!
DSIS does not pass out schedules. Students are given the DSIS classes they requested in spring the previous school year. You will have access to Canvas 8/23 and you can find your classes there.
Teachers will begin reaching out to the students that have turned in their completed master agreements the first week of school to schedule their one on one supervisory meeting, review schedules and answer questions. Some Canvas assignments will begin the first week of school. Please make sure to log-on and review assignments on the first day of school.
Zoom meetings/classes, in-person classes, workshops and supervisory teacher meetings do not start until August 29th.
Once finalized, our 22-23 Course Schedule will be posted on the DSIS website under each program.
To
provide support to the DJUSD COVID-19 response team, a group of parents have
created a DJUSD Parent COVID-19 Support Line to supplement district efforts to
provide on-call, individualized support for other DJUSD parents. This
trained team will not provide medical advice but can support DJUSD parents on a
variety of topics such as: isolation and quarantine, testing FAQ’s, masking,
and other general COVID-19 support. You can call or text 530-500-3086 or

WORK PERMITS: Applications
can be found on the DSIS website under STUDENT/HOW DO I/Work Permit
Application. Please print it and complete it with your parent/guardian
and supervisor. You (the student) may bring the application to DSIS for
approval and signatures. NOTE: The student
must be present to sign the approved permit at the time of pick up.
